IPC and West Kalimantan provincial goverment will build the Port of Kijing

Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) in cooperation with the Provincial Government of West Kalimantan to build a port in Kijing beach region, West Kalimantan. "We are working with the local government ordinance," said Technical Director of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) Ferialdy Noerlan in Jakarta, Wednesday (8/5). Port development plan is still under discussion by both parties. However Ferialdy said that the IPC and West Kalimantan Provincial Government are committed together to building a port in that new area.Ferialdy said that this development of a new port is in order to of port expansion and to accommodate a logistics trend and economic and also cargo. Port development was also conducted at the Port of Sibolga.IPC will work with Pelindo I.
