To ensure that all employees meet the company’s competency requirements, Indonesia Port Corporation has implemented a training and employee development program. The competencies sought are CORE competence, ROLE competence and FIELD competence. To gauge each employee’s mastery of these competencies, the company carries out routine assessments and subsequent efforts to close the gap through training and development.

The training and development programs include management development and individual development, as well as master’s degree education opportunities overseas (in Europe, Australia and China) and locally.
