REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Ministry of Transportation Cq. The Directorate General of Sea Transportation through the Sunda Kelapa Class III Port and Port Authority Office today launched an Electronic-based or Sibabbe-based Goods Loading and Unloading Information System.
The launch of the Sibabbe application is done virtually through the Zoom Meeting application by the Director-General of Sea Transportation, R Agus H Purnomo and directly by the Head of the Sunda Kelapa Class III Port Authority and Authority Office, Ridwan Chaniago at the Sunda Kelapa Harbor, attended by officials in the Environment Directorate General of Sea Transportation and maritime stakeholders in the Sunda Kelapa Port.
According to Agus, Indonesia is now entering a period of adaptation of new habits (AKB), even though the Covid-19 pandemic period is still ravaging. Therefore, as elements of the Government, all levels of the Directorate General of Sea Transportation, both in the Head Office and all Technical Implementation Units (UPT) in the field are required to continue to provide services that meet the Covid-19 health protocol. "Ie the services that are less likely to be carried out in direct contact between officers and service users by utilizing the development of information technology to create an online service system, including loading and unloading of goods at the port," Agus said in a statement received by Republika.co.id, Monday (7/20).
Related to this, then to improve excellent electronic-based services in loading and unloading activities at the port, the launch of Sibabbe, according to Agus, is something that should be appreciated to support productivity and performance at the Directorate General of Sea Transportation, particularly at Sunda Kelapa Port.
"The government hopes that the application of Sibabbe in the future can be used easily by service users so that it will accelerate the service of ships in the Sunda Kelapa Port. For this reason, service users are also asked to be able to fully support the task of KSOP Class III Sunda Kelapa in supervising and monitoring loading and unloading data from and to ships in real-time, "Agus said.
Agus said, the launch of the Sibabbe Application was also expected to trigger service personnel in the Sea Transportation sector, especially at the Sunda Kelapa Class III KSOP Office to work wholeheartedly, honestly, friendly, politely and in synergy with related institutions to realize excellent service to the community.
Head of the Sunda Kelapa Port Authority and Class III Kesyhbandaran Office, Ridwan Chaniago, in his report said, the Sibabbe Application is a Project for Changing Service Improvement in the Sunda Kelapa Port area which he initiated. The goal, he said, was to improve goods loading and unloading services electronically to facilitate service users in loading and unloading goods at the port as well as effective supervision of Sunda Kelapa KSOP officers as regulators at the Port.
"This Sibabbe application is an effort to digitally arrange ship service and loading and unloading of goods at the port, where in the future this application is also ready to be integrated with the Inaportnet system and the SEHATI Application System," Ridwan said.
